UA in Ghana: Service Learning

This course offers students a unique opportunity to get involved with African communities in a tangible way by integrating service projects with classroom learning. Service-learning agencies include Ghana’s Environmental Protection Agency, elementary schools, hospitals, Governor’s offices, and more.

UA in Italy: Language and Culture

Spend a summer immersed in the language and culture of Florence, Italy. Open to students at every level of Italian, this program combines language courses with the experience of living with an Italian host family while exploring the city’s art, history, cuisine, and culture through immersive excursions and activities.

UA in Costa Rica: Tropical Environments

The UA in Costa Rica: Understanding Tropical Environments program takes students to the beautiful country of Costa Rica during the Spring semester. Students earn a full semester’s worth of credit in less than two months — and are done by Spring Break!
